Hi, I’m Mary from PinqueChocolat and I live in upstate New York in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. I'm a mom of a college student who is studying in Philadelphia, and I have a wonderful husband who works as a caretaker in one of our state parks. By day I'm a legal secretary, so I most definitely needed to get in touch with my creative side!

I have always loved arts and crafts for as long as I can remember, and I started making cards, scrap booking and then eventually making jewelry about 5 years ago, and there was no looking back!

I have always loved anything vintage and I found that while wearing my jewelry that I mostly make with vintage supplies, a lot of people responded and would ask me where I got it, and could they buy some? The rest was easy.

I started my Etsy shop (www.PinqueChocolat.etsy.com)last summer and have been pleasantly surprised by my success there.

Hi, my name is Desiree and I have recently become a member of the CAST, Quiltsy and Carried Away teams!I am stay-at-home mom to two beautiful children (and wife to one large, lovable beast of a husband)! I love to quilt and I love to make scrap quilts. My own little effort to "go green" by using bits I might otherwise throw away. My quilted are a great example of this; my scraps are your treasure!I love to read voraciously, quilt and knit preemie hats for fun. I also make quilts to sell. I've been quilting for 12 years, and sometimes it helps me keep my sanity. The inspiration for my jewelry comes from yoga and the abundance of meditation that I do.

I love the muted tones of Zen and the brilliant bright colors of Hindu art. I love moons and stars

and anything to do with nature. I am partial to beading and wire wrapping in silver with gold

accents. I have recently started working with polymer clays and enjoy making really unique items.

My specialty is eyeglass lanyards, eyeglass necklaces as I call them. I have a very distinct style

and make 2 and 3 strand mostly. I weave the strands from a 3 strand to a single strand then

back again to 3 which creates a very different look. I strive to make items that are completely

unique with a quality of familiarity. I welcome custom orders and find collaboration between

myself and another person alot of fun!
